Checks and adheres to documented instructions
Correctly loads/unloads equipment on/from transport
Correctly slings simple and complex loads, using the appropriate slinging equipment
Applies the safety rules (site and GSS safety rules) and ensures co- workers, clients and suppliers adhere to them
Accounts for and maintains rigging equipment, lubricating and cleaning in accordance with manufacturer’s instructions; completes maintenance checklists
Completes worksheets, obtains sign off by the client and submits for processing
Attends start of work meetings with client/colleagues/subcontractor to ensure allocation of tasks is clear and safety procedures are understood, etc.
Occasionally acts as crane driver on telescopic cranes if qualified to do so and only when required.
Drive semi-truck with crane counterweights, following cranes to/from location
Training and certification as a Rigger (GSS will provide)
Speaks English - Able to use e-mail and internet. -
Valid Medical certificate
Rigging certificate (Bonus, not required)
Valid class A CDL driver’s license (2 years experience on CDL)
Must be willing to travel outside of Wyoming for up to 3-4 weeks at a time
Salary $18-$20/hr (negotiable depending on experience)
Paid hotel rooms, with $30/day per-diem
Paid health, vision, and dental insurance, 401k program, quarterly safety bonuses
$1,500 sign on bonus after 90 days
